• API Communication: Your subject query is sent to OpenRouter AI service to generate quiz questions
• No Storage: No data is stored locally or remotely. All data is cleared when you close the extension popup

2. Third-Party Services

2.1 OpenRouter AI Service

Ledger AI Quiz uses OpenRouter's API to generate quiz questions. When you request a quiz:

• Your subject query is sent to OpenRouter's servers
• OpenRouter processes this request to generate relevant questions
• No personally identifiable information is transmitted
• OpenRouter has its own privacy policy governing their data practices

3. Permissions

Ledger AI Quiz requests minimal Chrome permissions:

• host_permissions (openrouter.ai): Required to communicate with the AI service for generating questions

We only request the absolute minimum permissions necessary for the extension to function. The extension does not access your tabs, browsing history, or any other browser data.

4. Data Security

We take security seriously:

• All communications with OpenRouter use HTTPS encryption
• No data is stored locally on your device
• No data is transmitted to our servers (we don't have any servers)
• The extension operates entirely within your browser
